The Cameron Family welcome you to join us at The Yanko on Thursday 26 September for our 2024 On-property Merino Ram Sale.

The Sale team have been running on native pasture and are presenting as an even line of rams. We believe you will find the ram to meet your breeding objective as we continue to balance wool and carcase attributes. Our objective is to increase fleece weights, increase post weaning weight, reduce breech wrinkle and maintain a stylish, weather resistant wool. We also continue to bring sires into the stud with strong carcase attributes of eye muscle depth and fat cover while matching our elite wools.

The breeding approach is underpinned by balancing all the data with the physical attributes of the individual. Our selection is guided by the phenotype, with correct conformation and structure being paramount. Each individual genotype is analysed by a 50k genomic test, and data submitted to sheep genetics throughout their lifetime.
